"It does not affect affected women", Bruno erupts in insults to Michela

In today’s episode Bruno was the one who ignited several different situations in the studio.

Bruno’s meeting with Alvis aroused much discussion in the studio.

It was Ada and Mikela, who discussed the duo meeting biting both, but that did not stop there. Bruno started making fun of the girls after their comments.

He gave Alvis a gift, some crystals ostensibly to ward off evil energies from Mikela and Ada.

Then Bruno and Michelane started a discussion where it turned out, the competitor severely offended Michela, at one point he addressed her as a ‘silver-affected’ female and that he would not be able to touch her anymore because he loves a female without being touched by other men.

This angered Michela, who told him that he should look for a woman outside of “Match” because none of them are as good as he prefers.

Haxhiu: Për herë të parë po ndodhë që gratë dhe fëmijët po e ndjejnë dorën e shtetit

The government today introduced the start of implementation of measure 3.5, payments for midwives and child allowances from the Economic Revival Package.

With the decision of the Ministry of Finance that starts to be implemented this month, new mothers (midwives) will be supported by the Government including 170 per month and at the same time will begin the gradual implementation of the program for child allowances, from 20 to 10 euros in month.

And this decision, the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu is assessing that for the first time it is happening that women and children are feeling the hand of the state.

According to her, for the first time the attention has turned to the categories that are discriminated against and oppressed.

Through a Facebook status, Haxhiu said that the big problems caused for years are not addressed within the year.

This is her full status:

Never, no Government, through policies have addressed the problems faced by girls and women, therefore we have found the situation very bad. Only the commitment of the Government but also other institutions will change the situation. Undoubtedly the major problems caused for years, are not addressed within the year.

For the first time it is happening that women and children are feeling the hand of the state. For the first time, attention has turned to categories that are discriminated against in print.

I have received many messages today regarding the measure to support mothers and children.

Families are happy with this measure because it makes everyone’s life easier while cynics are always in their position. Tendencies to undermine the positive effect of this measure have failed!

Our state will become a place of welfare where everyone can live because he is a citizen of this country.

Afghan women do not stop protests

September 06, 2021 – 20:26

Afghan women have once again taken to the streets to demand equal rights under Taliban rule. The protests took place in the northern city, Mazar-e Sharif.

According to photos shared on social media on September 6, a group of women gathered in downtown Mazar-e Sharif, holding banners reading slogans such as “Violation of women’s rights – violation of human rights” and “We want participation at all political levels,”

Protest organizer Shakourieh Rahimi told Radio Free Europe that Taliban militants detained journalists trying to cover the protest and beat some of them. Witnesses said the Taliban insulted and threatened the protesters. The militant group has not commented on the information.

Afghan women seeking equality, justice and democracy have staged protests in recent days in the capital, Kabul, and the western city of Herat.

On September 4, Taliban militants used tear gas and fired firearms into the air as dozens of women staged a protest in central Kabul demanding equal rights.

At least one woman was injured.

Samira Khairkhawa, who took part in the recent protests in Kabul, told Radio Free Europe that Afghan women are currently experiencing insecurity.

“Several weeks have passed since women did not know whether they would continue working or not. They do not know whether they will enjoy fundamental and civil rights,” she said.

The Taliban took control of most of Afghanistan three weeks ago and have yet to announce their new government.

The Taliban have said that women’s rights will be respected under Islamic law – Sharia – but have not elaborated on what this means in practice.

The Taliban education authority said in a document released on September 5 that they would only be allowed to attend university if classes were segregated by gender.

The Taliban ruled Afghanistan between 1996 and 2001. They did not allow women to work, girls were not allowed to attend school, and women had to cover their faces and be accompanied by a male relative if they wanted to leave their homes.

Those who broke the rules were sometimes sentenced to public beatings by the Taliban religious police.

After taking control of Afghanistan after 20 years of foreign military presence, the Taliban are now under the watchful eye of Western leaders if they have changed, including the way they treat girls and women.

Many countries and organizations have expressed doubts about the Taliban’s promises that this time they will rule differently.

What stands out immediately in this list are numbers 1 and 2, the leadership positions in which two women stand.

Unlike other parties, where the leaders of the lists are the candidates for mayor, the PDK list is led by a woman, a professional, a figure who has given a lot to Pristina.

She is the architect, MP, artist, Eliza Hoxha. Immediately after Eliza is ranked the director of the Institute of Pathology at UCCK, Rina Limani. This list also includes some well-known names of the city, activism, sports, culture and politics which will aim to enrich the final composition of the Municipal Assembly of Prishtina.

Murder of women in Kosovo ..

The 18-year-old, Marigona Osmani from Ferizaj, on Sunday, August 22, 2021, was sent without signs of life to the emergency room by her husband, Dardan Krivaqa and Arbër Sejdiu.

Dradan Krivaqa (29 years old) is suspected of killing his wife, while Arbër Sejdiu (32 years old) is suspected of hiding Dardan’s crime.

This case marks only one of the serious murders of women in Kosovo, as over the years in our country there have been several murders of women, mainly by their husbands.

Diana Kastrati was killed in 2011, also by her husband, Adnan Jashari.

He had killed Diana just a few meters away from home, at noon.

Diana’s case came after her request for urgent protection against domestic violence was not accepted by the Court of Prishtina.

And, until 10 years have passed since Diana’s murder, her husband suspected of this murder, is still on the run.

Zejnepe Berisha died on October 23, 2015 as a result of injuries received by her husband Nebihu.

Nebihu’s husband, in the presence of the minor, had deprived Zejnepen of her life by knowing her 20 (twenty) times in a row, in all parts of the body, persistently and in a brutal manner.

In this case, the court had decided that the perpetrator should be sentenced to 12 years in prison, but after pressure and analysis of the circumstances and manner of the murder, this sentence was increased to 17 years in prison.

In 2015, one of the heaviest vehicles occurred, which shook Kosovo.

The 24-year-old, Donjeta Pajazitaj, from Strellci i Deçanit, was killed by his cousin Naser Pajazitaj.

November 9, 2015, Donjeta had disappeared, to be found and killed after 6 weeks in the mountains of the village.

After many scenarios of suspicion about this case, it turned out that Donjeta was killed by his cousin, Naser Pajazitaj, who during the time that Donjeta was missing had stayed close to the victim’s family.

And, almost 6 years after the case, the court gave the final verdict regarding this murder, sentencing Naser Pajazitaj to life imprisonment.

While Zejnepe Berisha in 2015 was killed by her daughter, Valbona Ndrecaj (34 years old) was killed together with her 9-year-old daughter, by her husband Pjetër Ndrecaj, in August 2018.

The indictment explained that Valbona had been stabbed in the chest and head while the girl was behind the ear.

The prosecution clearly explained the couple’s conflict and the functioning of two problem-solving systems, state law and canon law.

A few weeks before the shooting, Peter was arrested by the Police, suspected of su.lm against his wife.

He was detained for 30 days, and after his release he started to solve his problem on canonical grounds.

At the time when the Gjakova Prosecution was dealing with the investigation of Valbona’s beating, Pjetri had gathered the men and according to what is called custom, he had gone to Valbona’s family, to try to reconcile with him.

There, as it is written in the indictment, they were received by the family with coffee and ra.ki.

In 2018, there was a serious murder of a woman.

Sevdije Berisha found her dead after her husband, Isen Berisha, had beaten her several times with a goose on her head and other parts of her body.

All this had happened while she was asleep.

In addition to killing the woman, Isen Berisha had also attacked his pregnant reindeer Arlinda, who tried to prevent the mother.

She was go.ditur on the head and on the left arm with so.dap.

Another incident that shook Kosovo is that of Armenda Aliu, also by her husband, in August 2019.

The couple had a few days to come from Switzerland to Kosovo for vacation.

The couple’s problems had caused the 61-year-old to take his life with his wife, 42-year-old, just a few meters away from their house, in the “Hysni Morina” neighborhood of Prizren.

Police had found 15 bullet casings at the scene, which were fired from the reload with which it is suspected that the whole serious incident took place.

Sabile Mavrovqani from Kamenica also died of severe wounds caused by days of metal spraying.

She was killed by her husband Nuhiu in July 2020.

According to the indictment, due to constant family disputes, he intentionally deprived of life his wife, now deceased, so that after the conversation, the same with a suitable tool – a metal shu. left and on the head, which after falling to the floor, again continued to go.

Nuhi Mavrovqani had confessed to the crime until he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Musliu: Selective reactions to threats, violence and killings of girls and women

The MP from the Democratic Party of Kosovo Ganimete Musliu, through a post on the social network Facebook has reacted to the murder of 18-year-old from the municipality of Ferizaj, Mrigona Osmani.

According to Musliu, in our country there are selective reactions, collective justice and a dangerous mentality. She even referred to her case a month ago when she was threatened with physical liquidation, and according to her none of her colleagues who are now reacting regarding the murder of the 18-year-old had reacted.

“I have only one question: Do women and girls have to die for us to become interesting with our reactions on social networks as a society?” Musliu wrote in her Facebook status.

Full post Musliu:

A month ago I was threatened with physical liquidation, because my head would be cut off with an ax. One person was arrested, interrogated and taken into custody. There were reactions from a considerable part of the society but surprisingly I did not see reactions from some women, including some of my colleagues, who today bag crocodile tears and react harshly on social networks for the murder of the “girl from Ferizaj” as reported. I have only one question: Do women and girls have to die for us to become interesting with our reactions on social media as a society? Family condolences for the tragic loss of the daughter. I believe that the competent bodies will do their job and the hands will receive the punishment which will be a lesson for all those who raise their hands against girls and women in the future.

A Chinese citizen admitted that he attacked three women with a hammer on the bus

At the hearing, the suspect defended himself that he did it because of the heat and because someone is constantly following him, and because of this kind of defense, the prosecution intends to order his psychiatric expertise, Tanjug has learned.

Detention was proposed due to the danger of escape, because the Chinese citizen does not have a registered residence or stay in Belgrade.

His minor son, who was with him during the commission of the crime, was taken over by the Directorate for Foreigners and the Center for Social Work, the prosecutor’s office told Tanjug.

He is charged with the criminal offense of Violent Behavior.

It is suspected that on Saturday, first, in the bus on line 37 in Požeška Street, he hit two women in the head with a hammer several times out of pure peace, and then in another bus on the same line he hit another woman in the head with a hammer.

One of the passengers managed to snatch his hammer, and he then fled.

With the quick intervention of the police, his son and he were found in Požeška Street at the bus turnpike, where the Chinese man was arrested.

The pandemic left 10 percent of women unemployed in the Pristina region

In Pristina, women were hit by the pandemic, leaving 10 percent of them unemployed for six months to 1 year, compared to 4 percent for men. Emphasis is placed on the lack of safety and health at work, where a large number are endangered in the workplace.

The Kosovo Stability Initiative today launched the report “Citizens’ Perceptions and Attitudes in the Prishtina Region”, which surveyed 200 women and men in the Prishtina region, in order to inform decision-makers and the government on key social and welfare policies.

Mrika Sefaj from IKS said that food and household supplies account for between 10 and 80 percent of household costs. While the average household income spent on this category of expenses is 45.5 percent which is considerable.

“An extremely high number of female respondents have not been employed in the last 6 months to the last 1, claiming that the pandemic has hit them the most by 43.5 percent. Women looking for work are twice as likely as to be out of the labor market than men, “she said.

Among other things, more than most women and young people prefer to be employed abroad.

“Women and young people of 72 percent prefer to be employed abroad, compared to men who have a lower interest rate of 42 percent,” she said.

The director of IKS, Brikenë Hoxha emphasized that they are committed to women’s rights, and that they are working to provide empirical data to public policies.

And, UNOPS project manager, Visare Gorani said that although Kosovo has good laws, there are delays in their implementation.

“No one knows how the employer handles accidents at work. We have had cases where the whole family falls into the trap of unemployment. It is important that our focus, occupational health and safety at work, should have good regulations, policies “where they would enable decent work for all,” she said.

From the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, Avni Ajdini said that safety and health at work is very sluggish.

“Workers minimum wage since 2011 has not moved at all of 170 euros. Although there have been promises there is no movement. We have plenty to discuss but we need to work much harder,” he said.

The survey and this report are part of the project “Support to the Social Justice Coalition”, which is within the framework of the UNOPS project “Promoting decent work through strengthening OSH management and social dialogue in Kosovo”.
