After the meeting, the Agreement on incentives for investment in the city of Valjevo will be signed between the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and the company’s representatives.
Bizerba will expand its production capacities in Valjevo, and according to the company, the investment of about 30 million euros in a new production plant in Valjevo will help Bizerba strengthen its position on the global market.
On an area of about 10,000 square meters, at the new location, a plant will be built for about 300 employees.
They add that for the company, as a global player, investing in regions that are in the growth phase is crucial in order to be as close as possible to customers.
Bizerba was founded in Balingen, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, in 1866, and employs 4,300 workers worldwide and operates in 120 countries.
The company produces, among other things, meat cutting machines, label printers, logistics and shipping systems, goods inspection systems, and industrial software.
