Tomorrow a part of Prishtina without electricity

KEDS through a press release, announces that on May 27 from 09:00 to 18:00, a part of the capital will have planned power outages due to works which are being carried out in the electricity network .

The areas that will be affected by these works are: Velania, Rr. Norbert Jokl, Rezervoari, Mahalla e Muhaxherëve, Rr. Isa Kastrati (part), part of Enver Maloku street, part of Armend Daci street, part of the apartments old, part of the road Afrim Zhitia, Pjetër Budi College, Bregu i Diellit – East area, Rr. Brothers Gërvalla, St. Ahmet Haxhia, St. Holger Petersen, St. Ernest Koliqi and No. 5 Kodra e Diellit (part).

These works are part of the mega investment project which started last year and which provides for the creation of a new energy infrastructure for the Capital.

Through this investment, which reaches the figure of 16 million euros, KEDS is enabling the increase of the capacities of the existing lines by converting them from 10 kV to 20 kV and is creating alternative lines at the outlets of the main substations, from which they will benefit over 90 thousand customers.
