After the end of the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajrulla Çeku said that this festival was an extraordinary experience and dignified representation for the state of Kosovo.
Ceku said that Kosovo artists are the ones who are holding the country at the top of world competition.
“To continue the world success, the film needs extra attention. “Our institutional commitment and increased support for the film was also confirmed by Prime Minister Kurti from Kana”, Çeku wrote on Facebook, among other things.
In this festival, Kosovo has participated with the film “No place” by director Samir Karahoda.
Although it did not receive any awards tonight, this Kosovar film was a success, being able to enter the top ten shortlisted films in the short film category selected by the Cannes Film Festival selection committee from 3,739 films from around the world. / Voice
