Northern Macedonia on Sunday (June 13th) did not register any casualties with COVID-19 marking the first day without casualties since September last year.
Northern Macedonia has had the highest number of deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic, not only in the region but also beyond, compared to the population.

According to the Ministry, during the 24 hours, eight people were registered infected with the new coronavirus, which is also the lowest figure in recent months in terms of COVID-19 patients.

The data is based on the testing of 3,068 samples in 12 state and private laboratories while, according to the announcement of the Institute of Public Health, the number of persons hospitalized in the country is 68.
The Ministry of Health has announced that it is waiting for a larger amount of vaccine doses without specifying the terms, type and number of vaccines.
It was previously reported that 500,000 Chinese Sinovac vaccines would arrive in early June.
Last week, the Ministry of Health received 30,000 vaccines as a donation from Turkey.
So far, 255 thousand people have been vaccinated in Northern Macedonia, while 448 thousand have registered to be vaccinated./REL
