Historians of Deçan to Osman’s advisor: You are criticizing the Constitution for political interests, but you are silent in the case of Deçan – Latest News
The Association of Historians of Kosovo “Ali Hadri”, branch in Deçan, has reacted to Artan Murati, advisor to President Vjosa Osmani, who came to the defense of his boss even after the decision of the Constitutional Court to reject her request for interpretation by this court for the division of seats in the CEC based on the largest parliamentary groups represented in the Assembly.
In the reaction sent to the media, Shkodran Imeraj, chairman of LHK “Ali Hadri”, branch in Deçan, said that it is easy to criticize the Constitution for narrow political interests, while asking Murat and Osmani why they are not reacting but are silent about the issue of the property of the Monastery of Deçan.
“Artan Murati, why are you silent about Deçan, and you declared for the CEC? Artan Murati, advisor to President Vjosa Osmani, after reacting against the Constitutional Court regarding its decision on the issue of the Central Election Commission. I had asked Councilor Murati that why he and his superior are silent about the property dispute between the Enterprises ‘Apiko’ and ‘Iliria’ and the Municipality of Deçan on one side and the Monastery of Deçan on the other, and why they do not even bother to meet the parties involved in this issue “, said Imeraj, reports Zeri.info.
“Why do not the President of Kosovo and her Cabinet come up with positions on the implementation of Milosevic’s decisions in post-war and post-independence Kosovo?” “Why does the President of Kosovo and her Cabinet not take a stand on the anti-constitutional and anti-legal judgment of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo dated May 20, 2016 for the property dispute in Deçan?”, Added the chairman of LHK “Ali Hadri”, branch in Deçan, Shkodran Imeraj.
According to the historians of Deçan, it is easy to criticize the Constitution for narrow political interests, but this, according to them, is not happening for other decisions harmful to Kosovo.
“It is easy to criticize the constitution for narrow political interests. “The constitution should have been criticized for legalizing Milosevic’s laws, decisions and bylaws for Kosovo,” reads their announcement.
This reaction of historians comes after the statements of Artan Murati, advisor to President Vjosa Osmani, on the occasion of declaring inadmissible by the CC the request of the head of state for interpretation by this court for the division of seats in the CEC based on the most groups major parliamentarians represented in the Assembly.
The president was accused by civil society and political parties of serving the interests of the ruling party, namely the Vetëvendosje Movement.
But Murati said that these statements are absurd, while he was released on charges for the Court. / Voice
