The Government of Kosovo in today’s meeting of the Government, has decided to return its opinion to the Assembly regarding the draft law on amending and supplementing the law on vehicles.
In this way, the way has been opened for the removal of homologation as an obligation for cars imported from European Union countries.
In this regard, the Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti through a post on Facebook said that the end of extortion through homologation has begun.
He said that “for 12 years in a row we had a monopoly on the homologation of vehicles that enriched an oligarch by imposing trade barriers.”
