The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani in the press conference she had today together with her Slovenian counterpart, Borut Pahor, spoke about the genocide lawsuit against Serbia.
She said that she fully agrees with the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti and the Speaker of Parliament, Glauk Konjufca on this issue.
The Government of Serbia has reacted to this statement.
The so-called director of the office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovç has commented on the statements of Kosovo leaders about genocide against Seria.
He said that Kosovo has neither the basis nor the official and legal opportunity to do so.
“Vjosa Osmani either does not want dialogue and mentions that Pristina is ready for talks to avoid the packages of the international community or is completely incapable of understanding the concept of peaceful politics. “It is completely clear that Pristina has neither the basis nor the official and legal possibility to sue Serbia for genocide,” he said, adding that this is a miserable attempt by Kosovo to divert attention from the trials in The Hague. / express
