The meeting of the Government of Kosovo approved new measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Kosovo, according to the draft decision of the Ministry of Health.
The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia has announced that from August 20, nightclubs will be closed and family parties, such as weddings and engagements, will be banned.
He said that from the moment of publication of the decision, the gastronomy schedule will be reduced.
“From August 20, nightclubs will be closed, parties such as engagements, weddings, etc. will be banned.
“From the moment of publication of this decision on the official website, the schedule of gastronomy will be shortened”, said Vitia in a press conference.
The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia at the Government meeting, stressed that measures to maintain public health are critical to prevent the wider spread of the virus and deaths from the disease.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti invited the citizens to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Kurti added that taking new measures is necessary to maintain public health.
“No person who has been vaccinated has died from the Delta variant,” he said. / Telegraphy /
