Rita Ora is ready to return to the UK for the first time in nine months when she will repeat her role as a panelist in the ITV hit “The Masked Singer”.
The 30-year-old star left Britain in January after enrolling in The Voice Australia, and has since moved to Los Angeles with new boyfriend Taika Waititi.
But she will return to the UK for two weeks of filming in October, her first appearance in the country since she drew criticism for hosting her 30th birthday party at the height of Britain’s third national pandemic blockade.
A source told the British “Sun” that Rita Ora likes to do the show and although she has created a new life in Los Angeles, she was determined to participate again.
“She has been out of the UK for the whole of 2021, but will not be back for long, because at the moment the trip is only planned for two weeks. There will be strict COVID rules on filming, but she hopes to see some family and friends. “It’s really important to him,” said the source.
Rita broke the pandemic protocol in November when she held a 30th birthday party at the Casa Cruz restaurant. Shortly after the incident, Rita left for Bulgaria where she filmed a music video, and then spent seven months in Sydney filming the Australian version of The Voice.
Her boyfriend Taika, 45, was also in Sydney at the time shooting “Thor: Love And Thunder”, and the stars are thought to have met through a mutual friend. The couple then headed to Los Angeles together in June and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the “Suicide Squad” premiere on Monday.
Rita Ora paid a. 10,000 fine for violating these protocols after she was reported to the police. She was also forced to apologize further for violating the strict coronavirus rules by flying to Cairo and not being isolated upon return.
“After my return to Britain, I should have followed the advice of the Government and isolated myself for the required period. As you know, I have not followed the advice of the Government and I apologize again, without reservation. ‘My message is simple: please do not! The guilt and shame I have held this week for my mistake is not worth it. Instead, continue to listen to Government advice and the voices of NHS heroes and take the necessary action. “I hope one day to make the public that has given me so much support over the years and, in particular, the NHS heroes”, said Rita Ora.
Meanwhile Rita is also expected to return to Sydney for The Voice Australia as her appearances this season helped boost ratings.
It is understood that everyone involved in the singing competition, from Australian television network Seven to production company ITV Studios Australia, is ‘desperate to keep up the momentum’.
“Contracts are being worked on for Rita; the ball is all in its field to return. “She is offered up to $ 1 million a season, which is a monster fee,” a source told New Idea.
Other participants in the show include star Keith Urban and Australian singers Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian./top channel
