The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla reacted after the Vehicle Registration Center in Zubin Potok was burnt down.
Through a Facebook post, Sveçla said that last night after midnight, the Vehicle Registration Center, which is located in the municipal building in Zubin Potok, was set on fire by suspicious persons.
“Today at 01:00 after midnight, from a criminal act with terrorist elements caused by suspicious persons, the Vehicle Registration Center, which is located in the municipal building in Zubin Potok, was set on fire. “Kosovo Police immediately went to the scene and soon we will have more information,” he wrote.
Sveçla says that the Civil Registration Center in Zveçan was also attacked, where an explosive device is suspected.
According to him, these criminal actions best show what would happen at the border crossings in Jarinje and Brnjak if we did not have the presence of special units to ensure order and security.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs with its agencies is committed to order, security and rule of law and is the guarantor of sovereign decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and despite such actions will continue with full commitment in implementing the decision throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo “, he said.
Svelala invites citizens in the north “to respect the law and not to be guided or manipulated by those who survive politically, or benefit materially, only thanks to tensions.” / Voice
