Çitaku congratulates Osman: It’s the final second to get rid of harmful polarizations

Former Ambassador of Kosovo to the United States of America, Vlora Çitaku has congratulated Vjosa Osmani for president.

While congratulating Osmani on her election as president, Çitaku adds that “As a new democracy, the fact that for the second time in 13 years we elect a woman at the head of the state should be seen as a sign of emancipation”.

She also writes that it is the last peaceful moment to eliminate dangerous polarizations and pathological hatred which has dominated the political scene for many years now.

“The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo elected Mrs. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu President of the Republic. As a citizen of Kosovo, I congratulate the newly elected President Mrs. Vjosa Osmani success and prosperity! As a new democracy, the fact that for the second time in 13 years we elect a woman at the head of the state should be seen as a sign of emancipation. And now, Kosovo faces many challenges that require consensus, coordination and prudence. It is the last moment to eliminate the dangerous polarizations and pathological hatred which has dominated our political scene for many years now! You good priests! “Dear portals, I am not vindicating anyone 😄 I am not adhering anywhere”, wrote Çitaku.
