Gërvalla meets with representatives of diaspora associations, talks about institutionalization of cooperation – Latest News
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, together with the Deputy Minister, Liza Gashi, hosted a group of representatives of Albanian associations from the diaspora, with whom they held a meeting.
According to MPJD, the purpose of this meeting was to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the needs and challenges faced by these associations and their members.
During this meeting, Minister Gërvalla said that Kosovo institutions will never forget either the cooperation or the contribution of diaspora associations for years for the homeland in culture, education and other fields.
“Today we want to hear closely the requests you have, your point of view, the problems you have”, said Gërvalla while assuring them that you will not miss the support of the Government of Kosovo for their activity.
Also, Deputy Minister Gashi, stressed the need for energy and labor channels by joining the diaspora and raising the level of cooperation with institutions in Kosovo.
“Only by becoming together can the role of the diaspora in the societies where they live be advanced,” she added, according to the MFA communiqué. / Voice
