Compatriots living in different parts of the world are still coming to Kosovo to visit their relatives.
A larger number of compatriots are observed these days, especially because of the feast of Eid al-Adha.
The influx of compatriots so far seems to be more focused on some border crossings than in Merdare. Currently the longest columns are observed at the Jarinje border crossing point, where according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, waiting times for entry are 60 to 80 minutes. However, there is no waiting at the exit.
After that the biggest wait at the entrance is in Merdare with 40 to 50 minutes. Whereas, half an hour out.
And at the Dheu i Bardh border crossing, the waiting times at the entrance are 30 to 40 minutes. Whereas, in drums there is no waiting.
At the Muqibaba and Vërmicë crossings, the waits are half an hour at the entrance and less than 10 minutes at the exit.
