Currently in Kosovo there are 3,695 active cases of COVID-19.
After a long time, the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health (NIPHK) on Saturday reported that there were no deaths due to COVID-19 infection.
However, since March 22, 2020, when the first case of death due to COVID-19 infection was recorded, so far there are 2,239 citizens who have lost their lives to COVID-19.
The corona virus infected 107,279 people in Kosovo.
While in the last report, NIPHK reported about 35 new positive cases with the corona virus.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 3,199 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field , of which 35 positive cases result. No deaths with SARS CoV-2 positive were reported within 24 hours. The total number of positive cases is 107,213 cases out of 588,812 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 2,239 deaths “, it is stated in the last announcement of the NIPHK.
During the last 24 hours, 180 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 101,279 cases, while the number of active cases is 3,695.
Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 9 cases, Ferizaj 4 cases, Lipjan 4 cases, Mitrovica 4 cases, Klina 2 cases, Obiliq 2 cases, Prizren 2 cases and with one case the municipalities of Gjakova, Gjilan, Malisheva, Peja, Podujeva, Rahovec , Shtime and Viti.
