The news was announced by the Ministry of Health, which said that since the arrival of the first 24,000 doses of the vaccine, which were followed by 38, 400 doses two weeks ago, and 15,000 doses, which have been delivered. so far from the European Union Mechanism for the Western Balkans, vaccination teams across the country have vaccinated priority groups and chronically ill citizens as set out in the State Vaccination Plan.
The MoH says vaccination is the essential tool and the best hope to end the COVID-19 pandemic.
“100, 620 vaccines provided through COVAX are an important step to follow the vaccination plan at a fast and uninterrupted pace, according to all safety and quality parameters. However, the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet. In the meantime, we will continue to maintain the following prevention measures – wearing masks, physical distance and good hygiene to limit the spread of the virus and contribute to preventing the loss of life and serious health complications caused by the pandemic COVID-19 ”, it is said in the announcement of the Ministry of Health.
