Three suspects are arrested, narcotics and weapons seized

Kosovo Police, specifically the Anti-Drug Unit in Prizren, has arrested three suspects, for narcotics and weapons. The suspects were interviewed in connection with the case in the presence of defense counsel and in consultation with the competent prosecutor, one of the suspects (FA) was sent to police custody for 48 hours, while the other two suspects were released in due process.

The case is under investigation by the competent anti-drug unit in the region.

Kosovo Police in its active engagements in preventing and combating criminal acts, namely the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking (DHTN) – unit in Prizren, has stopped the vehicle ËV Golf 4 (license plates known to the police) in which there were three (3) Kosovar male suspects.

During the control of the suspects were found and temporarily seized:

Suspected narcotic substance of Marijuana type weighing 7.19 grams, one (1) knife, one (1) packet of rubbish and three (3) mobile phones.

The suspects were arrested and escorted to police premises for further legal proceedings.

Following further police actions, by verbal order of the competent Prosecutor and with the consent of the Pre-Trial Judge, the anti-drug units in Prizren, with the assistance of other regional units, conducted a search of the house and accompanying facilities owned by the suspect (FA). and during the search were found and temporarily seized:

• Suspected narcotic substance of the type Marijuana weighing 8.49 grams

• one (1) M 57 7.6 mm pistol, with one cartridge and three (3) cartridges

• one (1) gas pistol with the inscription “Class Magnum”,

• three (3) cartridges, ammunition of unknown caliber

• one (1) opening knife,

• one (1) rubber rod

• one (1) nylon bag with small empty bags

• one (1) packet of rice

• one (1) black metal box
